Ronald Craig Meador, 48, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on February 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to his family, faith, and hard work.
Born in Durango, Colorado, to Ron and Rosemary Meador, Craig built his life around the values of responsibility, dedication, and love for family. He was employed by Hilcorp Energy, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. Craig took immense pride in his career and in providing for those he loved.
Above all, Craig was a devoted father and grandfather. His children were the center of his world, and he found great joy in supporting their passions and celebrating their achievements. He especially cherished the time he spent coaching his children in basketball and softball, creating lasting memories that will forever remain in their hearts. His grandchildren brought him immeasurable happiness, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Craig shared 21 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Hali Meador. Together, they built a life filled with milestones, laughter, and the everyday moments that define a strong and loving family.
He is survived by his wife, Hali Meador; his children, Colton Weaver (Ashlee), Nick Weaver, Reigan Weaver, Calli Meador, and Bentley Meador; his cherished grandsons, Cal, Tommy, and Carson Weaver; his grandparents, Jack and Helen Meador; his brother, Steve Meador; his sister, Tina Stinson (Derrick); his niece, Cassie Miramontes (Matt); and his nephews, Dylan Stinson (Lindsey), Kaison Meador, Jase Meador, Kyler Meador, and Jaxx Meador. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Rosemary Meador.
Craig will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his family, his integrity in his work, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Hills Church, located at 5101 N. Dustin Avenue, Farmington, NM 87401. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
